Virginia Bio | Women Building Bio Conference 2023

The Women Building Bio conference, hosted by Virginia Bio, was a dynamic convergence of students, entrepreneurs, scientists, and business leaders. We heard from several influential speakers and panelists sharing their insights and experiences with respect to the contribution of women to life sciences in the Commonwealth and beyond.

The conference theme “Building Better” emphasized that women are not just participants in today's team-based sciences—they are pivotal. This conference was a revelation, pushing beyond the typical boundaries of academia and industry in STEM. It showcased the diverse paths ahead and reassured me that with the right mindset and connections, possibilities are endless. Perhaps most compellingly, it underscored the enduring truth that science is unequivocally women’s work!
